It’s often said that Cannabis is the great connector. This plant encourages us to examine life from both introspective and expansive perspectives. When people get together to sess, this connectivity is enhanced by this collective experience through smoke. I’ve been touring the southern part of the state over the past couple of years and enjoying these elevated engagements and environments. Summer events are in full swing. From intimate gatherings to public parties, it’s been exceptionally impactful to smoke organic sungrown flower with so many amazing people.
AAPI shout outs
May was AAPI month. The Asian American Cannabis experience is a unique one. Asian countries have the historical vantage of having the oldest recorded evidence of the sacred plant on the planet with broad spread pharmacological access to having some of the most punitive drug policies in the world. The Cannabis stigma in the united states has deeply effected acceptence and access for Asian American communities. Mogu Magu in Los Angeles is doing work to destigmatize Cannabis in Asian American communites. Their Events are creating Cannabis community through a holistic cross section of food, Cannabis, and fun. Once you’ve had the opportunity to check out a Mogu Magu event, all of your senses will scream for more. I’m heading back to Los Angeles in July for a Mogu Magu event, details will be released soon.
