April Eclipse x Spring Flowers
This month has already been dynamic beyond expectation. The tour south with lingering vertigo inspired and reinvigorated all of my senses. At every stop these relationships become more meaningful over time as we all learn with each other; as we navigate and create access to sungrown. This is a slow path…yet I’m seeing the formula which is people who get sungrown REALLY get sungrown. We’re making progress, good people, the key is access so we can let the plant do her work.

What's Happenin!? At Moon Made
Back on the farm, our nursery is full, vegetables are growing, wild and seasonal flowers rise up in bold color across the hills and the forest comes to life with the last of the mighty oaks sprouting new growth. The sun and moon converged on April 8 for an eclipse visible to over 30 million people. That’s an art installation y’all! Along this path, the living world will fall cool and silent over these four magical minutes with a collective focus on the natural world–the greater forces that determine human existence. It’s a great reminder to smoke a joint, gather, commune, and honor our universal likeness.
Events
Weed Week in San Francisco, On 4/13 I’ll be on a panel about Women in Cannabis at the eclectic and majestic Haight Street Art Center. This is event is near and dear. I love the Haight Street Art Center for being an active cultural hub that supports the city’s underground art, people’s movements from political to poetic through the language of ART. Onsite screen printing and an incredible collection of 60’s poster art. This place RULES!
It’s SF Weed Week April 13-20 and we’ve been invited as one of the 7 growers with one of the 7 highlighted strains. I’ll be at The Vapor Room SF with with Sherbert Haze, we’re bringing back this sizzling Sativa Diva chosen by David Downs as one of his top 7 this season. She’s on the Menu…
